Engine Oil and filter (Inspect for leaks)
Oil Lines and brake system (Inspect for leaks)
Air Cleaner (Inspect, service as required)
Tires (Check pressure, inspect tread)
Wheel Spokes (Check tightness)
Primary chaincase lubricant (Replace)
Transmission lubricant (Replace)
Clutch (Check adjustment)
Primary Chain (Check adjustment)
Rear belt and sprockets (Inspect and adjust belt)
Throttle, brake, enrichener and clutch controls (Check, adjust and lubricate)
Jiffy stand (Inspect and lubricate)
Fuel valve, lines and fittings (Inspect for leaks)
Brake fluid (Check levels and condition)
Brake Pads and discs (Inspect for wear)
Spark Plugs (Inspect)
Electrical Equipment and switches (Check operation)
Engine idle speed (Check adjustment)
Steering Head bearings (Adjust)
Springer Rocker Bearings (Adjust)
Fuel door, tour-pak, saddlebags (Lubricate hinges and latches)
Critical fasteners (Check tightness)
Road Test (Verify component and system functions)
5000 Mile Service (8000 km)
Same as 1000 Mile with the exception of:
Not doing the Jiffy Stand
Not doing the steering head bearings
Not adjust the Springer rocker bearings
No Critical fasteners
10,000 Mile Service (16,000 km)
Same as 1000 Mile with the exception of:
No Wheel Spokes
Include the Jiffy Stand
No Brake Pads and Discs
Replace Spark Plugs
Steering Head Bearings (Lubricate)
Windshield bearings (Inspect and Adjust)
15,000 Mile Service (24,000 km)
Same as 1000 Mile with the exception of:
No Wheel Spokes
No Jiffy Stand
No Steering head bearings
No Springer rocker bearings
No Critical Fasteners
20,000 Mile Service (32,000 km)
